ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Required documents for the registration are as follow:

1. The original diploma from your previous educational program (a bachelor’s degree or equivalent) obtained from an accredited study program in the relevant field and must be approved by the master’s degree you intend to pursue;
2. Original transcript with GPA in accordance with one of the following criteria:

  1. ≥ 2.50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants graduating from accredited A study programs, or;
  2. ≥ 2.75 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants graduating from accredited B study programs, or;
  3. ≥ 3.00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants graduating from accredited C study programs.
3. Your former study program’s (bachelor’s or equivalent) accreditation certificate that fulfills one of the following criteria:

  1. The accreditation status must be the current and valid accreditation and proven by a scanned accreditation certificate or its print screen obtained from Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT)/LAM-PTKes website;
  2. If your bachelor’s study program’s accreditation is being renewed, you must submit a copy of the submission receipt of the accreditation documents to BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes obtained from your former university. A certificate or letter stating this renewal issued by your former university is not acceptable;
  3. Applicants who are international universities’ graduates must have diploma equivalency decision letters from the Ministry of Education and Culture as a substitute for the accreditation certificates.

The admission committee only processes accreditation documents that fulfill one of the above criteria.

4. A valid certificate of an academic aptitude test* (issued no more than 2 years prior). The committee only accepts the certificates of following tests:

5. A valid certificate of an English proficiency test* (issued no more than 2 years prior). The committee only accepts the certificates of the following tests:

6. Two confidential recommendations written by two individuals (nominated by the applicant) who are familiar with the applicant’s previous educational endeavors, such as their academic supervisors or other authorities, including the applicant’s employer. The admission committee will send an online recommendation link to each of these individuals via email. Please ensure that their email addresses are valid and active.
7. Special requirements:

  1. A statement of purpose detailing the applicant’s reasons for pursuing studies in their chosen master’s program. This statement should articulate their research interests, motivations for selecting the program, and post-graduation aspirations. The form/template for this statement can be downloaded here;
  2. A thesis research proposal*/an essay/other special requirements required by the study program.

*) Mandatory for applicants applying for master’s degrees by research.

8. A study permit or an assignment letter written by the applicant’s current employer (the form/template can be downloaded here);
9. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Perjanian Kerja Sama (PKS) or a valid Scholarship Award Letter (only for applicants applying through the partnership pathway);
10. A statement of document authenticity (the form/template can be downloaded here).

Study Programs/Faculties/Postgraduate Schools can require higher GPAs, academic aptitude test scores, and English proficiency test scores than those required by the university. For more information, please contact the study program you wish to apply to.
